I first learned about Huda Beauty through my obsession with matte liquid lipsticks. They have a great collection of liquid lipsticks (each for $20)! They are also famous for their Textured Shadows palette Rose Gold Edition which you may have seen all over Instagram! Now she has added highlighters to her line but not just any highlighter, 3D highlighter, that actually comes with steps!
Before I get into the steps I wanted to explain how there are two editions: The Gold Sands Edition and the Pink Sands Edition.
Fun Fact: Each shade name was inspired by beaches from all over the world!
The Pink Sands Edition is for fair to medium complexions with the names: Capri, Santorini, Azores, and Ibiza. The Golden Sands Edition is for medium to dark complexions with the names: Fiji, Seychelles, Tahiti, and Zanzibar. Below are the swatches on different shades of skin:
1. First, you will need to Prep by applying from the top left corner of palette “Melted Strobe” to your cheekbones. This “melted strobe” creates a smooth base and is made with creamy shea butter and pearlescent finish.
2. Second, apply the lightest on your cheeks as your bonus glow.
3. Next, you can sculpt by taking the darkest shade and swiping it blow your cheekbone as if contouring.
4. Lastly, you can finish your look by sweeping the blush colored shade on line where your light and dark shades meet and blend it all together.
Isn’t this genius? Not only does this palette seem to blind with its highlights but it also contours! This palette is priced at $45 and I honestly think it is worth it for what it does! You can find buy it here from their website directly.
